FAQ
Do you need assistance for your TUBÒ integrated central vacuum system?
On this page you can find answers to the most frequently asked questions.
Frequently asked questions
» What is TUBÒ?
TUBÒ is an innovative integrated central vacuum system to clean rooms and improve the air we breathe. Unlike normal portable vacuum cleaners, TUBÒ uses vacuum sockets and a piping network in the walls that vacuum up the dust directing it towards a central vacuum located in a separate room, far from the place we are cleaning, and able to make mites and fine dust disappear perfectly and silently, making the air in the house more breathable.
» How does TUBÒ work?
The operation of TUBÒ is as simple as it is practical and original: the suction hose is inserted into the sockets positioned in the walls of the various rooms of the house, so the dust collected ends up "behind the wall", in a control unit located in a separate room from the rooms where you usually live. So no more traditional vacuum cleaners dragging around the house in search of a suitable power outlet, no more stress with extension cords that don't come and bumps against doors and furniture. Now each room has its own attachment, in which you can insert a flexible hose with the terminal and the most suitable brushes for the type of surface to be cleaned.
» Is the TUBÒ system only for homes or also for offices?
The TUBÒ integrated central vacuum system by Aertecnica is so simple and flexible that it can be used by several operators at the same time. It is therefore perfect for cleaning not only houses and apartments, but also large properties and environments such as hotels, offices, communities, healthcare facilities, etc.
» In what space can I install the TUBÒ system?
The central vacuum unit of the TUBÒ system will be located in a separate room from the rooms where you usually live, e.g. terrace, garage, cellar, etc.; this allows the system to be used at any time, in total silence.
» Is the TUBÒ system good for allergy sufferers?
One of the great differences between the traditional vacuum cleaner and the integrated centralized vacuum system consists in the recirculation of dust: in fact, while the former puts the vacuumed dust back into the environment, the latter removes it totally, transporting it through underground pipes to the room where the central vacuum cleaner is located, thus ensuring total cleaning of the environment from mites and micro-dust. Inside the central vacuum unit, the dust is filtered by special polyester filters and then expelled outside, clean. And all without user contact with dust.
» Can the TUBÒ system be installed in an existing home?
Normally no: this type of system/system is installed during new construction or renovation as it is composed of a 50 mm diameter pipe that runs through the floor or walls together with the electrical and plumbing system.
There are cases in which it can be installed in apartments that are already finished, but they must be on a single floor and have a garage or cellar below where the pipe can be applied by drilling only the slab to put the sockets. In these cases, however, it is best to request the intervention of our technicians, who will be able to help you with any need.
» Is the TUBÒ system noisy?
No, it is not noisy: since it is possible to install the central vacuum cleaner in a separate room from the rest of the house, the noise caused by the motor is practically zero. In the rooms it is therefore possible to clean in complete silence. This allows you to clean even in the evening or at night, when a normal and noisy vacuum cleaner could not be turned on, especially if you live in an apartment building.
The central vacuum units of the Dynamica Pro models are equipped as standard with the APF Self-Cleaning Filter system, an innovative and patented process by Aertecnica (APF System, Europe Patent Pending n. 06793421.6) that allows the central vacuum cleaner to always operate at its maximum performance, keeping the filter constantly clean and reducing maintenance over time.
The APF comes into action making the central power unit slightly noisier, but this should not cause any concern: the slight hum remains limited to the central vacuum unit and is not perceived in the rooms where it is being cleaned.
» What is the APF System?
The APF (self-cleaning filter) system is the self-cleaning system of the Dynamica Pro control units of the Tubò system. Thanks to an Aertecnica PATENT*, it allows you to reduce filter maintenance operations while maintaining the optimal suction performance of the control unit for longer. With the self-cleaning system of the APF filter, maintenance operations are reduced to a minimum, energy savings, low environmental impact, longer life of the Precision filter and maximum hygiene.

» What is the Clean Bag?
The new "Clean Bag", thanks to the two side ties, is hermetically sealed even before the container has been unhooked from the control unit, completely avoiding contact with dust.
» Do you need a vacuum socket for every room?
It depends on how big the rooms are; with one socket, on average, about 25/30 square meters are covered. Another system for calculating the number of sockets needed is the following: knowing that the pipe with which we vacuum is about 7 metres long, if I place the sockets at a point x (corridor, entrance, etc.), I can see where I arrive with this measurement and determine the number of sockets needed to cover the entire apartment or house.
» What can I vacuum?
With the TUBÒ system it is possible to vacuum dust, small debris, all the dry material that normally populates our homes and that we let in while carrying out daily tasks. Obviously, the diameter of the objects to be vacuumed must have the right proportions so as not to obstruct the pipes. As for liquids, they must be vacuumed using a special accessory: the wet vacuum cleaner. Vacuuming water and dust together, in the absence of this accessory, would probably create problems of clogging the pipes and therefore of the outflow of dust to the plant.
» Is it possible to vacuum liquids with the TUBÒ system?
Not directly, for this service it is necessary to use a special accessory "LIQUID SEPARATOR" code AP372T. This accessory must be placed between the suction outlet and the flexible hose in such a way that the liquids are separated from the air and do not enter the fixed pipes, when full a safety float stops the suction.
» What is wet vacuum cleaner?
The wet vacuum cleaner is an accessory that is used when we want to suck up water or ash or small material that we do not want to enter the vacuum cleaner system pipe but are "decanted" in this accessory.
» Is it possible that TUBÒ gets clogged by sucking up bodies that are too big?
It is very difficult because, to suction, the flexible hose is inserted into a socket prepared with a 90° inlet, preventing the passage of "large" bodies that would not circulate in the pipe network. Furthermore, since the diameter of the classic tube is relatively small (about 30 mm) TUBÒ allows the passage of only very small material.
» On which surfaces can the system be used?
TUBÒ can be used on all surfaces using the appropriate brushes: for example, for wood, a brush is used that does not scratch it; for marble or cold floors, brushes with soft bristles are used, while for terracotta, semigres or other floors are necessary
brushes with less soft bristles. We have a wide variety of brushes for the most diverse uses, available for purchase on our TUBÒ Store.
» What kind of accessories are there for my TUBÒ system product?
There is a very wide range of accessories including the many types of flexible hoses, brushes and sockets that are designed to adapt to the most varied furnishing characteristics. Download the catalogue with all the accessories of the TUBÒ system in the download area.
» Who installs TUBÒ?
The TUBÒ system will be installed by an installer in the electrical sector or in the thermo-hydrosanitary sector, in other words an electrician or a plumber.
» Who do I contact for instructions and user manuals of the TUBÒ system?
On our website you can find the use and maintenance manuals of each individual machine, made available to those registered in the reserved area. For technical needs, it is still possible to contact our email to info@aertecnica.com
» How do I clean the filter of the central vacuum cleaner?
The central vacuum units of the TUBÒ-Dynamica system are equipped with a filter cartridge clogging detector. These central vacuum units signal an anomaly by means of a LED or Filter icon.
Dynamica control units signal the clogging of the filter cartridge through a timed system. In these cases, it is possible to continue to use the central vacuum units and it is RECOMMENDED to regenerate the cartridge; If the control unit frequently reports this anomaly, the filter cartridge must be replaced.
» Cleaning the washable polyester cartridge
Remove the filter cartridge to be cleaned and clean it with a not too strong jet of water, taking care not to tear the filter fabric. If the cartridge tears during the filter cleaning operation, replace it with a new one.
After each wash, the filter cartridge must absolutely be dried without being exposed to strong heat sources.
Before removing the cartridge, it is recommended to use personal protective clothing.
It is recommended to have an original Aertecnica replacement filter cartridge, to be used during the regeneration period.
» For cleaning the filter cartridge
